Sales Engineer (m/f)

We are looking for a well-spoken, analytical, and charismatic Sales Engineer to solve challenging problems and help our customers succeed!
My name is Sebastian, and I am the CTO at Aircloak. At Aircloak we have developed a query and anonymisation layer that our customers put in front of their highly sensitive datasets. The layer rewrites queries and automatically anonymises query results, making it possible and safe to open up and use data that otherwise would be too risky to touch. It is a rewarding space to be in. You can think of it as possessing superpowers most people thought did not exist but get very exited about once they realise do!
Our customers are larger enterprises. With that comes high-touch sales and longer sales cycles. We are in the process of professionalising and building out our sales capacity, and are looking for you to become a core part of this effort. You are the technical counterpart to our sales staff, dazzling customers in meetings, giving and creating demos, creating proof of concepts, integrating our system, helping train customers and understanding and solving analytical problems both before and after the sale is closed.
Your background matters less to us than your clear head, problem solving skills and ability to reduce problems to their bare essentials.
To excel in this role you need to be technical and analytical and have a knack for working with data, yet the wish to get away from your desk and interact with people.
We pride ourselves in our no-bullshit attitude to the way in which we communicate and interact with each other. This should be a quality you embody too. If you realise there is something you don’t know, you acknowledge it and fill your knowledge gap instead of making things up. Learning, after all, is something you consider an ongoing mission rather than a task to be completed once and for all.
You should be fluent in English and German, and located within two hours travel distance of Berlin.
